"Sister, Sister" is the story of a family of three sisters who come together to decide the fate of their family home after the death of their revered father. This original drama, somewhat akin to Arthur Miller's play, "The Price," was filmed in 1979 in Montgomery, Alabama, and has Carroll as the straight-laced spinster who has lived in the family home taking care of the youngest sister, Cara, since their parents died; Cash as the free-wheeling divorcee with a young son (Kristoff St. John); Paul Winfield as the owner of a local nightclub who has been after Cash for years; Dick Anthony Williams as a politically ambitious minister who finds himself attracted to Cash; and Robert Hooks as Cash's musician ex-husband.
